At Tuff Soul, we offer a wide variety of merchandise and services. Our inventory is made up of a combination of new and used goods, as well as our one-of-a-kind reconstructed collection, which is made right here at our shop. For our Vintage and Recycled clothing, we strive to bring you stylish clothing in excellent condition, at reasonable prices. All the clothing is chosen carefully, and then it is washed or cleaned before it goes onto the racks of our store. We work hard to ensure that the merchandise is clean and taken care of so you can have the best experience possible, shopping our used inventory. We also offer the service of alterations for merchandise purchased in the store for a small additional charge.
BUY/SELL/TRADE
We buy clothes from our customers at 30% in cash or 50% in store credit, of our intended sale price. Call our store for details about our buying times, because they occasionally change. We buy merchandise for Women and Men including clothing, shoes and accessories. We look for merchandise that is in excellent condition and that is either classic or current styles. We are very selective with what we buy, so please be selective with what you bring us.
Vintage
We want classic and funky style vintage clothes that are in great condition. Vintage clothing must be from the early 1900's to the 1980's. (1990's clothes are not considered Vintage). We love vintage cowboy boots and leather jackets. Vintage clothes for all seasons can be brought in all year long. We do not make this part of our buying seasonal.
Recycled
For our second hand merchandise we are looking for quality name brand, designer and high-end retail pieces. We will not buy brands that were created for any big-box discount retail stores. We love designer jeans! We want clothes that are in excellent condition. For second hand clothes, we only buy for the current season.
ALTERATIONS/REPAIRS
The service of minor alterations is available at Tuff Soul for small additional charges. Are your jeans too long? We can hem them by reattaching the original hem so you'll never know they were altered for $15 a pair. This is a service available for jeans bought in the store and those you already own or purchase somewhere else. Other small alterations and repairs can also be done here in our store. Alterations for clothes bought in the store are our first priority and will always be accepted. Outside alterations, other then jeans can only be taken when we have available time.
RECONSTRUCTED
Our reconstructed collection is made of recycled materials and clothing, redesigned to create unique one-of-a-kind pieces. Our workshop is right here in our store front, and occasionally you can view the design process while you are shopping. Custom reconstructed pieces are available. Inquire at the store.
