The Tuff Soul store was created to teach people about Sustainable Style. We practice this idea through the sales of a variety of new, used and re-created clothing that gives people another way to shop green. Vintage clothing and gently-used second-hand clothing, which we call Recycled Clothing, makes up the used clothing inventory. A variety of companies that manufacture Organic cotton clothing makes up our new inventory, which is all made under non-sweatshop or fair trade labor practices. Tuff Soul's one-of-a-kind reconstructed clothing is made right here in our shop, from recycled clothing and materials.
Tuff Soul is located in Ithaca, NY a city known for being one of the Green cities in America because of its green building and use of alternative energy. Ithaca is located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York and is home to many beautiful New York State parks, including Taughannock Falls, one the largest water falls east of the Rockies. Ithaca is home to Cornell University and Ithaca College. Tuff Soul strives to bring Ithaca more ways to shop green and live a greener life through the concept of Sustainable Style.
